Don't stop trying.
I notice that every time I am nearing my finish line for a certain goal, when a breakthrough is about to happen, when great blessings are on its way, something terrible happens. A trial or a delay gets in the way.I get discouraged and I sometimes pause to question God.
But always, my faith would intervene. I could only hold on and believe that I am almost there! I am an inch away from the prize!
Don't stop trying.
Making mistakes is a sign that you are making progress.
That was the message at last Sunday's Kerygma Conference I attended. Not making mistakes is not trying, which is the biggest mistake you could commit. You are not your mistakes. You are not your past. You are not your failures.
They play a great part in your growing, in your way to your goals, but they do not define you. So, don't stop trying.Don't let your mistakes stop you from becoming the great person you were destined to be.
Don't let your past failures keep you from moving forward.
The world needs your light to make it brighter.
Don't stop trying.
Tap into the Force that has always been in you and see yourself become the miracle you have always wanted to become.

Very motivational. Keep pushing through.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteI do the same thing... I go along and do the things I need and just before I get to my goal I give into doubts... I just took a huge leap of faith and doing some things I need to to get to where I want, you should have seen all the things that came along to upset me... this time, it was blatant... so I just rolled my eyes and pushed through... I hope I always see those challenges as trials to succeed... It is not easy :) This is a wonderful post, honest and sincere xox
ReplyDeleteI like the part that you have to roll your eyes and push through. It's like saying, "Oh, please. Get outta my way I'm on my way to success." Haha. Thanks, Launna. May you continue to push through despite the difficulties.

Thanks, Love!
DeleteLife is not perfect and it's made that way so we keep on trying. Hang on there, the tide turns to your side without even noticing it.
ReplyDeleteTrue! Thanks, Mari.
DeleteHi Lux! Oh my, do I agree with you! It does seem like finish lines just bring out the enemy, trying to force us away. Let's not let that happen! Keep on working, keep on going. I was writing much the same idea the other day. We are so powerful when we are with God, why wouldn't we attract some barriers?
ReplyDeleteI love this, and I'm grateful to read it as I start my day.
Blessings to you!
Ceil
Thank you so much, Ceil! You are so right. We are only distracted because we are almost there but we are powerful because we have a powerful God. Have a wonderful day!

DeleteYou are so right! You have to just keep trying. Sometimes I think I get close to a goal and sabotage myself for fear of failing! But you have to at least try!
ReplyDeleteOh, don't we all do that? Fear of becoming great. Yes, let's keep on trying. Thanks, Grandma Kc for stopping by. :)
DeleteAmen! Sometimes it's so hard to step out and try--but we are never alone in our endeavors.

DeleteLove it! This week was a trying week, the devil tried to get in the way so many times. I felt like I was failing but then i realized it wasn't failure unless I stopped cause the devil was distracting me in my efforts to honor and glodify God. This was right on time! Love it love it love it!
ReplyDeleteDon't let him win ever! :D
DeleteThanks, Bijee. Have a lovely long weekend!
The best advice I ever got from a #1 best-seller is "Never give up." You are right in line with this. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so flattered! Thank you, David.
DeleteInspired words!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteIt does seem like things get harder the closer I get to a finish line. If circumstances don't intervene and make things difficult, then I get in my own way. I lose motivation, find other things to occupy my time, whatever it takes to keep from that moment when you discover if you will fly or fall.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, and thanks for visiting my blog!
I think it is that way for everybody. So only the resilient get to the finish line.
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Your blog was interesting.
Hi Lux,
ReplyDeleteOh my, I think I need a t-shirt or bright shiny badge with - I will never stop trying... sometimes we can feel weary though, can't we. Thankfully we have our running partner with us, cheering us on our way.
Thanks for your encouraging post :-)
That will be a great reminder; a shirt or a badge. :)
DeleteLet's just not stop trying now.
Thanks for your brief sharing, Anita.
Not giving up - a great message. Thomas Eddison didn't give up trying to perfect his incandescent light bulb, even after thousands of failed experiments. He persisted one more time, and yet another, and another until he eventually succeeded. His bulb out-shined or outshone (pun incidental) those of numerous other inventors. In our pursuit of following Christ we may stumble or trail behind, but isn't it wonderful that God gives us strength and encourages us along the way, as we keep our hearts and minds focused on Jesus?~~+~~
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Peter. Such encouraging words. Let us keep our focus on our Prize despite the trials we face. :)
DeleteThanks for this inspirational and motivational post and also thanks for linking up at Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
ReplyDeleteThanks also, Terri!
DeleteHold on - Help is on the way - God is sending his messenger to pull you up and reach the top of the mountain. Never give up. When you fall, get up and begin again. Thanks for sharing with us here at Tell me a Story.

ReplyDeleteLove this, Lux! It is the greatest mistake not to try anything because of fear of failure. Hope you are doing well and have an awesome weekend :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for this most encouraging post, Lux! Your points are ones I really need to hear and remember each day. I tend to get down on myself when things don't go as I think they should. Thanks for sharing and God bless!
