1. Carnations

  • Light red carnations - admiration
  • Dark red carnations - more profound sentiments of love and affection
  • White carnations - purity and luck
  • Pink carnations - gratitude

  7. I love them tulips and peonies too! Carnations in my country are usually considered a sign of bad taste LOL since they're usually used at funerals

  41. I'm going to be honest - I don't know a lot about flowers! I do love red and white roses especially (those are my two favourite kind of flowers, even if it is a cliche :P) so it was nice to learn a little more about other ones and especially their meanings. Meaning is what intrigues me the most.
