The grass isn't always greener on the other side. The grass is greener where you water it.
Don't be deceived by envy. Sometimes the grass on the other side seem greener only because it's fake.
Nourish what you have. Cherish who you have in your life.
Never compare your beginning to somebody else's ending.
We all have our own timing. We all have our fair share of blessings. Instead of wanting what others have that you don't, be happy for them and be grateful for what you have.
Someone's praying for the kind of life you have. You are blessed more than you think.
Quit looking over your shoulder and comparing your life with the next person.
Comparison is the thief of joy. - Theodore Roosevelt

So true :) I remember long time ago I was also thinking that the grass is greener on the other side and I ma glad I understood it is not. It is up to us how fruitful our lifes are and how satisfied we are.

I totally agree... people often think others have it easier when in reality we cannot see what the troubles and challenges they have... it is better to just look after ourselves than to want what others have... great quote xox

ReplyDeleteI've used a quote resembling this when I was debating with my friend about history. I told him that history may have been written by the victors but it is understood by those who care enough to understand. We were talking about Marcos... hehe
ReplyDeleteThis makes a lot of sense!
